Mixed-media artist Lisa Solomon was born in Tucson, Arizona, in 1973, and grew up in Los Angeles. She received her MFA in Fine Arts from Mills College in 2003, and has exhibited extensively in the US, Asia, and Europe. She now lives in the Bay Area with her husband, daughter, and animals. Her monograph Hand/Made was published by MIEL in April 2013.
