William Reichard is an author, editor, and educator. He’s published four books of poetry, including Sin Eater and This Brightness. He edited an anthology, American Tensions: Literature of Identity and the Search for Social Justice, and The Evening Crowd at Kirmser’s: A Gay Life in the 1940’s, a memoir by the late Ricardo Brown. Reichard has a Masters degree in Creative Writing, and a doctorate in Contemporary American Literature. He lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where it is always winter, except when it’s not. A chapbook, As Breath in Winter, was published by MIEL in May 2015.
