Jesse Keen’s poems and prose most recently explore rural life in the Texas Panhandle, to which she is a recent arrival. She has also lived and worked in Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts. Her poetry is forthcoming in Cleaver Magazine (www.cleavermagazine.com); she has been published by Persephassa (persephassa.com) and horse less press (horselesspress.org). She has also self-published nonfiction and personal essays in zine form. A chapbook of nonfiction is forthcoming in fall 2015 from MIEL.
