Jonterri Gadson has 
received fellowships or scholarships from Cave Canem, Bread Loaf, University of Dayton, and University of Virginia’s Creative Writing MFA program. Her poems have appeared in Callaloo, Los Angeles Review, The Rumpus, and other journals. She is an assistant professor of creative writing at Bloomfield College in New Jersey. Her chapbook Interruptions, part of MIEL’s microseries, was published in September 2014. Interruptions was nominated for a 2015 Pushcart Prize, and is reviewed here.
